About Aimee M. Ahrons, PT, MSPT
Aimee is originally from New Orleans, LA and was first exposed to physical therapy as an adolescent by her older cousin, a PT and clinic owner. Those experiences were the catalyst for her to becoming a PT Assistant in 1998 then obtaining her BA in Exercise Science, and finally her Masters in Physical Therapy. During her last clinical rotation in PT school, Aimee was introduced to the IPA concepts and it deeply resonated the type of holistic care she wanted to provide her patients. After 2 ½ years of doing contract travel work across the U.S., including a winter season at Howard Head Sports Medicine in Vail and Beaver Creek, she settled in North Carolina and began taking IPA courses. In August 2014, she took a course in Denver, happened to meet the clinic owner Nancy Harrison, and realized that she missed all that Colorado has to offer. She moved here in July 2015 and could not be happier. When Aimee isn’t providing quality care to her patients with a sense of humor and fun, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, pilates, and snow skiing.
